Jackie McGowan is the founder of McGowan Medical Consulting, LLC. Jackie established MMC in 2014 to assist Healthcare CEO’s, CFO’s and COO’s with Joint Commission, CMS standards and Construction Administration.
Jackie has 21 years of experience in the Healthcare Industry. He Started as Director of Facility and worked his way up to Vice President of Facilities Management and Construction. Duties included, Joint Commission and CMS certifications, working with architects and engineers on project design, administrator on call, rotation, security, environmental services, Bio-Med and telecommunications.
He accepted a corporate position as Director of Construction & Design for a Fortune 500 for profit company and was responsible for overseeing the construction and design for 72 hospitals in 15 states, Pre and Post disaster recovery unit and regulatory compliance for all facilities.
Projects range from patient room renovations to ER, OR, Imaging, Patient Towers to Replacement facilities. He has constructed many ambulatory surgery centers, medical office buildings and free standing medical clinics. Regulatory services include preparing scopes of work and budgets for Certificate of Need applications and Hearings.
